P.S. On the other hand, only God knows what the weather will do from day to day or beyond, and, this came to mind earlier in the week, when local OCM Brian Norcross said that Ernesto was not behaving in a way that forecasters had thought it would...

I've had a good feeling about this winter for a long time...2007 just seems like an ominous number for a year, doesn't it?

i think this was released in the other almanac a while back.
and so much for warmest last year. we had 30 degrees at least a half dozen times last year. one morning we had 4 inches of frost on the car.

according to the NWS webpage, St. Pete was never below freezing last year. Seems like there have been many colder years in the past.

the st. pete station is right on the water. i'm inland and much cooler
