Seems like you guys in Arizona get lots of rain. I remember Arizona being very dry and having a severe drought.

We were/still are in an "Exceptional Drought", actually, it's been downgraded to Extreme Drought conditions...trust me, we are FAR from coming out of this drought we're in. In order to emerge from the drought we would need an extremely wet Sept, Oct. and then a VERY wet winter before we could think about calling the drought over!
Yes....it's been VERY nice seeing things SO wet again, this is like the days of old, when mud was word of the day from July to Sept., let's keep our fingers crossed!

That's amazing, we've only had a little over 30" of rain this year and I live in south Louisiana! The normal by this time is 43". Hopefully your drought is ending, and we can work on ours next.
