I was going to lock this but I figured it speaks for itself.

Too close together. That scenario is not likely IMO

5 days out from the islands at least . I guess Ernesto didn't teach us anything. 1 model 10 days out from land if she hits land.

Once again, I'll say that it is a bit too early to sound the alarm bells. Alot can and will change with the synoptic setup over the next 9 days. Are they headed in this general direction? Yes. Are they for sure coming here? No. It could be said that all storms that form in the Atlantic are heading to Florida because they normally head west. I don't want to underscore the need for the Florida East coast or the CONUS east coast to be prepared but I think we really need to deal with the facts here. The fact is, like I said earlier, this is a fluid situation and this can and will change. JMHO.

Bottom line - something to watch, but nothing is for certain.

I won't get too excited until it shows this for several runs, and there's some more model agreement.

Yeah, I'll watch each day, several times a day and follow S2K very carefully regarding these storms (TD #6 and the ones supposed to be behind it).
I'll follow through the many threads of 25 pages that will eminate for both.

However, I won't worry about them until they are within 5 days out and there is model agreement.

And then, after Ernesto; I will still be watching carefully no matter what they say!!!!

S2K will be source for what is "really" going on.

Of course, you mean you want to underscore the need, don't you? To underscore something is to stress it, is that not correct?

how does that one picture of the model indicate FL hits? Seems to me that those two systems could go anywhere.

Other than the air currents are normally sweeping them to the West, it really doesn't. Just a possibility in my mind as well!

I thought that I read on here, oh, maybe about two years ago or so that we weren't supposed to make posts with alarmist titles such as this one. It seems to me that this person just wanted to see his post and see how much attention it could garner. Making a post with a title such as this one is totally irresponsible.
