Last I checked...this is not Friday 13th!

This is freaky!!! Way to freaky for a sunday night!

Two things happened within a span of 5 minutes.

First, my computer started talking about 9-11 for NO apparent reason. This guy talked about 9-11 and how patriotic America is. The freaky thing...I did not have 9-11 screen open, I was doing wx history at the time!

Then a car crash right outside my apartment! A car ran a red light and smucked right into a unmarked Milwaukee Police squad car....I watched the whole thing unfold right from my bedroom apartment. First the loud crash noise, then a car alarm brought everyone to their feet. Wells St. is a one way and so is 16th. The squad car pulled out from a parked position and the other car ran a red light on the corner of 16th and Wells and hit the squad car. The Milwaukee FD was called in aide the citizen driver out of the car. The officer is walking and ok. The Squad car was hit on the passenger side, and the other car was his obviously on the drivers side. You should have seen the Marquette campus cops come running (the campus public safety is just about on the corner of 16th and Wells.) The citizen driver was (and from what I can see, still inside his car) Milwaukee and Marquette police are in the middle of the road...there is only 1 lane open on Wells (wells is normally 3 one way lanes, with a parking lane on each side). From what I can see from my apartment, the FD is spraying a liquid, probably because of gas leak (due to the gas tank of the citizen's car on the drivers side.) From what I understand is that the campus (or city) police love to sit on the corner of Wells and 16th right in front of the Annex (Marquette Sports Bar). Good News...the MFD just drove away. No Ambulance needed!

Tis really weird...I'm still trying to understand everything!

Not good running into a cop! That's really bad form. ;-) Computer talking back to you now Shannon? If you were researching on the internet then some site probably had a 9-11 audio stream running. Hang in there! :-)

Isn't it great to have something steady and predictable in your life....like Storm2k! Never know when the freaky things are going to take place. Glad you are ok too!

I wasn't researching, I have the wxhistory links saved in my favorites...and all of a sudden...this guy started talking about of no where. I had nothing up that had to do with 9-11! Absolutely nothing!

Marshall, I am hanging in, I'm just trying to figure out why both things happened within 5 minutes of each other!
