any possibilities of a Jeanne scenario..?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

any possibilities of a Jeanne scenario..?

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Wed Sep 06, 2006 7:39 am

No not wishing this thing my way,

But are there any possibilities of a Jeanne, where Flo Jo will make like she's going into fish land.. and then be blocked by the high or some other anomaly will push her back west..

Just curious

Nothing about Flo resembles Jeanne...She was a low tracker over PR..Got ruined by DR and then hung around for days before she came back west..

There is a strong Canadian high which is supposed to build in so are the current models picking up on that yet.

The fact that the models keep sending her out to sea as soon as they do makes me think she's not gonna go out to sea that soon..

I'm thinking still of a potential Floyd track..

I don't think so...Floyd was supposed to come into PBC as a Cat 4 monster...Flo is SUPPOSED to recurve..

I don't know it you were around when Floyd was out there. But it was to turn and go out to sea then the models changed it day by day and was to go into PB fla but it turned and came into NC. I am not saying it will come into NC but I do believe it will come very close to the east coast some where. Then out to sea. Floyd was just a sample not that TSF will do that.JIMO

I can't afford a Floyd right now, I've had 7-9 inches of rain since August 25th.

Same here. Water was all around my house about foot. Hwy 41 still closed near Chinquapin. Which is only 5 miles from my house and I live on Hwy 41. The water is going down it is just up in the back now. If we get this storm It would come in my house and I don't want that.

But is seems to want to go west more.JIMO

I was here during Floyd I have lived in carteret co all my life 45 years i dont remember them saying that floyd was going to say out to sea this one they are saying will. so far its sound pretty likely that it will stay out. I was just wondering if you have anything that looks like it may happen to bring it in on the east coast? I like to hear why a person thinks something might happen, not just that it can, but why. Keep us informed you are doing good thanks for all your info
