I wonder if there were going to send a plane to St. Croix today for Florence mission on Friday, and then they decided to divert to this system.

I suspect the only reason they ar elooking into it is because its travelling up the gulf stream and as we all know it can blow systems up ptretty fast, just look at Beryl in a similar sort of area.

that is what I think also

they would be better off investigating the Central Caribbean blob as it poses more of a threat at the moment.

I'd put 93L on that one, but this is still Invest-worthy IMO.

The POD said "resources-permitting". That's no guarantee they're flying. Hopefully they don't waste money on what will be a fronal low tomorrow.

I'm going to give them until 4pm to send out obs. Otherwise I'm going to assume it's been cancelled already. There are supposed be heading somewhere off NC coast. But I just don't see anything there that looks to be organized.
