Just a question here. Is it possible they are trying to get info on this to try and determine if it may have some implications on Flo down the line?

The weakness is going to be there for the recurve. This afternoon T-storm should be long gone before Flo gets close...

They are not one to overreact though. Unless this was only for training purposes you cannot convince me that they chased a thunderstorm.

Actually it is a very valid question. Though I would think they could ascertain any implications without flying recon.

Don't be surprised to see a mention of it, in one of the upcoming discussions.

I hear ya Rock. Just seemed unusual and rushed to me. Wonder if someone in the know will be able to chime in later on why they did it?

If this thing does develop somewhat it could leave a degree of ridging in its wake and steer Flor more westward. Something to watch.

It seems to be interacting with the front already. What implications if any do you guys think it might have?
