Anyone think #8 will be a long tracker?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Anyone think #8 will be a long tracker?

I know Helene is at only 12 north.. and I know with it being mid September, there may not be much of a chance of this..

But does anyone think Helene will be a long track system? Or does that apparent WNW motion by day 5 mean she'll just be a fish early like Flo Jo or Gordon?

I'd like to see a long track system. It'd definitely cause lots of extra interest here and with all the tropical enthusiats..

I think the Leeward Islands could be real close to her but after that I think it's off for a long Eastward cruise.
