I'm here. :D Going to tape it and watch it when the kiddies are in bed at 9. Can't wait to see how this is going to turn out. They usually only keep tribes split the first 2 episodes ecspecially if they are split in 4. Kinda pointless if you ask me.

I wish they'd give us a 2 hour Season Premiere! One hour is never long enough! Just when you are getting to know the cast, it's over.

But at least we have a new show! Wow, Summer flew by didn't it? (more or our reg shows start next week, yeah!).

Well... yeah..not really too exciting at all in this first episode. I think I like 2 tribes against each other better than 4 tribes against each other. But we will see... ONTO next week. Is it Thursday night as yet? 8-)

Check back tomorrow. They should put it on Innertube once the West Coast sees it.

All in all, I liked it. It'll be better once more people are gone.

Found this Survivor link, online. Interesting summary on several cast members.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14590972/

I thought it was somewhat boring. Exile Island - old news yes, but did you see how tiny that island is? Yikes! You could stand in the middle and see water on all sides, probably what, 50-100 feet away? I would not want to be on this island if a tropical system blew up!

My faves so far, the girl in the middle on the African American tribe - the swing vote girl. Ozzy is another. Definitely not the headache healer - ouch! That scene looked bizarre. He reminded me of Bruce and his holistic ways last time.

Next week will be better. And that girl who let the chickens go, she should just be glad her tribe didn't lose the challenge. She would have been gone, IMHO.

Dude I sooooooo called that before they picked. I knew it. lol
I thought it wasn't bad at all. I liked it. I liked the first challenge they had. A little bit of everything. It was physically, and mentally challenging. BTW I also called the asians winning it! :D The African american tribe really did represent  lol. They kept saying that, and then failed at the challenge. Better luck next time I guess.

I liked it. Mary, they always have one really weird guy. He'll probably be one of the first to go in that tribe. They are a very, very serious group.

I really liked the challenge, too. :) (And I'm delighted to find this thread at Storm2K!) This is my second season as a Survivor watcher, though I've seen segments on OLN. By the time I get toward the end of a season, I can't remember who-all was originally in it. :P

"Survivor" led off the night for CBS with a 10.1/17, which puts it among the least-watched premieres of any of its 13 cycles. A "Grey's Anatomy" rerun was second for ABC at 5.1/9. The duo of "'Til Death," 4.3/7, and "Happy Hour," 3.5/6, put FOX in third, ahead of two super-sized reruns of "My Name Is Earl" on NBC. "Smallville" scored a 1.2/2 for The WB.

Bump!

New episode tonight.

I'm really feeling that this show is getting old to me. I have watched it on CBS since Season 4(4 1/2 years ago now) and it defintely isn't as enjoyable as it used to be. Outside of the racial divide there is absolutely ZERO excitement or buzz about it. I'll keep watching this season, but I just don't know if I will after this one is over.

Heck I have watched since the very first one, and I still enjoy it. Its always better toward the end just like with BB.
