Joe says that he doesn't expect any long trackers from Africa hitting the lower 48. He does not rule out home brew systems.

>>Please don't "bash" me for my definitions of "bashing".

This is an example. I like Bastardi though I don't put stock in everything he says. Suppose I didn't, though. There are a couple (many) of ways that I could convey that in a thread:

1. I really don't like Bastardi or the way he hypes weather. He's been wrong more than he's been right.

2. Bastardi is an freakin' idiot who never gets anything right. How that guy got a met degree is a mystery. What a dumb *(#.

And while there is any middle between the two, I'd guess that only Bastardi coat-tailers would jump a poster for bashing in scenario #1 whereas one would probably get in trouble with the site for posting number 2.

I don't think it's what someone says, it's more about how they say it. If one employs even a small bit of diplomacy in what they say, the message will probably not be deleted. But if it's a bash in the sense of just trying to run someone down or denigrate them, why even bother?

Thank you Mitchell. Plain and simple, just what his thoughs for today are.

What's amazing is that that is all this thread was intended to be, but 90 % of the responses are on bashing JB and what defines bashing.

As with everything concerning JB nothing is ever simple.
