but yeah, those gusty winds were weird. Seems like they were isolated to my immediate area. They were probably reaching 40mph in gusts for 5-10 minutes or so. Pretty odd.

I'm still in Brownwood and we got some rain on Sunday, but not nearly as much as anticipated. They needed a lot more! I think it was officially .23" but that's still better than nothing as they're in a horrible drought here and will take what they can get. Too bad it wasn't the huge rain even they expected though.
I read on here that the storms fizzled in the Houston area, but I guess they didn't fizzle or as much for Beaumont? My dad is in Beaumont and said they had some really bad storms early Monday.
