#1 Postby cpdaman » Thu Sep 21, 2006 10:48 pm

it looks like i am in a very lucky (unlucky) local tonite

boca raton fl

pretty bad t'storm occuring 1.5 inches of rain in gauge as of a moment ago (it's pouring) just thought it was so odd that the only shower in the STATE is over central and east boca

(it looked like two storms joined one that was just west and one that moved in off ocean) only in florida

this is some of the worst thunder this year in boca i'm afraid to check rain gauge now, but the streets are flooded, the house was shaking, and we must have at least 2 inches now all in the last 40 mins

while this is not unheard of in florida the forecast tonite called for partly cloudy and an occasional shower this strom is a beast

1212 am rain stopped Maybe just temp. 2.2 inches in 45 mins
