"Deal Or No Deal" (Season 2)

#1 Postby TexasStooge » Tue Sep 19, 2006 7:22 am

The most popular game show on NBC is back, and the grand prizes are getting bigger and better.

BTW, I was so close to winning the $200,000 Lucky Case game last night. I've guessed the right case though.

I'm just baffled that they've managed to make a hit show out of "pick a number."

What's next, "Rock, Paper, Scissors?"

x-y, I believe they actually have had a "r, p, s" competition on tv before. Seems it was on ESPN2 or something over the summer....

If I would have been that guy last night, based on the luck he was having.. I would have played it out.. even if I would have not had the 3 million.

My friends all say the same thing.. "Go for it all.. you'll walk out with more than you came in with"

and btw.. I love that show.. and will probably buy the DVD game too lol

Never underestimate what a few tricks, a couple of pretty girls, and watching people sweat does to the American public.

The only major problem with Deal or No Deal is the fact that they have some family in this one corner of the stage giving the player idea's of when to quit and continue. They should get rid of that totally. Then the show would be much better. Players would go futher without listening to people who want them to take the deal way too early.

If the first girl would have done that she would have ended up with one penny!

I think the guy was nuts for turning down hundreds of thousands of $'s for as long as he did.
And remember, his briefcase had either $1 or $3M.
Is it really worth the gamble to walk away with $1 rather than $600k??

The guy was right in doing so. The reason why people keep going is because it isn't near the end game yet. It would be funny if someone took the first bank offer on Deal or No Deal. I always root for them to go all the way and take a chance because more times then not, they could have won more money. "Matty" should have stopped when the offer was in the 7 digit range.

If you're on the west coast.. I have to say 1 thing... the $6 million girl will not win 6.. but I have a gut feeling she'll win 1..

On the trailer before ER.. they had her sitting there going "I can't believe I just did that".. but then the crowd erupted.. I'm guessing she won the $1 million ..

we shall see..

Yep, I'm not happy to see that $6,000,000 go like that. This is what always happens on the special nights! :grr: This show isn't very fun to watch anymore since the highest number almost always gets knocked out on either round 1 or 2. About the girl winning $1,000,000, that would be epic in sense that a player could go all the way to reach the case. I have a hard time believing that she would go for it like that. Who knows though, it could happen.

Yeah, I am REALLY losing interest in the show. I didn't watch much of it on Tuesday and forgot about it last night. Not good. I was only halfway interested on Monday as well.

I just thought of something, the girl still has $750,000 and $1,000,000 on the board which is a good combo to keep throughout the game so that there is a safe trigger in place to keep going. Maybe that will seal the deal for her to win big? Could be....we will find out tonight.

too bad she only won $750,000. I was really ready to see the first millionaire of deal or no deal. Still though, that was the most anyone had won yet and it made for quite a suspensful show!
