Please take my research paper survey
Hi,
I am working on a reseach paper about global warmings impact on hurricanes and need to get data from a survey. I would really be thankful if you take this short survey for me.

Thanks again.

I also did it.
But I just wanted to point out that depending on what your researching, your results are going to be skewed because of who the population is on this message board. Storm2k is composed mostly of avid weather fans, most of whom have at least an amateur background in meteorology.
So if you use the survey to state that most people are avid weather fans who believe global warming is true (or not true, or whatever), then you’d have a methodology flaw
However, if your just trying to generalize to the weather population, then your right on target.
Sorry, I couldn’t resist....I teach undergraduate research methods.

agree with journey, spread out your sample so it isn't skewed. are you a member of any other sites not related to weather?
otherwise good survey, i took it and hope your paper turns out well.
(shudder...research methods was the bane of my existance in undergrad...ended up taking three seperate, or was it four, on research methods. makes me wonder why the heck I want to go back to do that all again!)

The posts or stuff said are NOT an official forecast and my opinion alone. Please look to the NHC and NWS for official forecasts and products.
