Yes, I know 11,000 feet isn't useful. That's why I call it a hole - no useful low-level data. Same thing in central MO and for Level II western ND. And yes, the velocities are being dealisaed in what I post.

As for the images, that'll take a little while, but I'll post them when I finish making them for the 01Z hour.

That's BR in the upper left, SRV in upper right, SW in lower left, and BR in lower right. All 0.5° degree tilt, the elevation of which varies from about 9300ft at the hook in the 0058Z pic to 14500ft at the marker in the 0202Z pic. If there are any other products or tilts (like the ones you see on the right hand tool bar) that you want to see or might be useful, let me know.

Also note the population of Antlers and Rattan, which can be seen on the radar in those images: Antlers has a population of 2552 and Rattan 241 per Wikipedia - pretty rural, as is expected in this part of OK. I'm really not surprised to see no reports from there, especially as this was not a prime chase target for the day either.

The Massac County tornado was an F3 (not sure if that was posted before), and another new survey in today from Crittenden/Webster counties, where an F1 occured intermittently for 50 minutes. All reports can still be found in the PAH PNS archive: http://www.crh.noaa.gov/product.php?sit ... glossary=0

Yep, I just got the press release for the F4 - the second of 2006 and only the third in the last 2 years.

Do occasional touchdowns count as one or several tornadoes?

The NWS seems to imply in the report that it is one tornado, as it is the same storm cell/meso that is producing the funnel, and they recognize this fact and put all the information for that into one report.

I'm working on pulling some good 3-D shots from this event - there are a few excellent volumetric tornado earmarks that occur during this show. Unfortunately, our F4 gave little more than a 158kt shear on SRV - very poor presentation on reflectivity - i.e. probably rain-wrapped. Massac County cell appears to be promising despite the proximity to KPAH.

I trust you will be writing about this one for the Wikipedia archives, Crazy?
