Late Fall Regime Continues Across CONUS, any end in sight?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Late Fall Regime Continues Across CONUS, any end in sight?

#1 Postby gatorcane » Wed Sep 27, 2006 2:50 pm

Looks an awful lot like late fall and winter across the United States with deep westerlies all the way down across the FL peninsula and a huge trough digging down across the mid-west and pushing south....

How long could this continue? No Way anything tropical is getting close to the US with this pattern:

Well it is getting to be that time of year. I would hardly say it's a winter time type of regime though.

I would say it is a pretty typical fall time patter though.

GFS showing a warm up in 5 days in the Mid West though.

No winter here. Temps in the 80s and still going to the beach. If this is winter, then oil prices will be at $20 per barrell by March!

Yea, bring back 25 cents a gallon gasoline as I remember as a kid. I think oil was like 4 bucks a barrel back then....long, long ago......MGC

yeah even about 50 miles further south down the coast in Boca/Delray,it was a tad cooler today. Felt and looked more like a November day here.
