"Desperate Housewives" premiered to a 14.6/21 on ABC at 9 p.m. The season premiere of CBS' "Cold Case," 9.7/14, edged "Sunday Night Football," 9.6/14, for second. FOX stayed in fourth with "Family Guy," 5.7/8, and "The War at Home," 4.0/6. "Top Model" held steady for The CW.

Can't believe I'm saying this but Susan is quickly becoming my least favorite housewife. Gabby used to be my least fave but when she said she isn't living her American dream last night it touched my heart. Gabby could become the best mom of the bunch, you just never know. Susan's been a flake from the start. Pretty but a flake. You have to wonder what a guy like Mike would see in her.

I think Orson was speaking French. Doesn't "monique" mean something in French? It doesn't have to be a name, right? I never took French. I just looked it up, but it wasn't any help. So maybe Monique is the woman's name. Have they ever said what his wife's name is?
It *could* have still been his wife. Have you ever known someone who had false teeth but you never saw them without them, until one day you catch them and their facial structure looks different because the teeth are missing? It's amazing how much shape two rows of teeth can give to a face. Remember, the body that was found had all the teeth removed. And, remember, Orson is a dentist.
However, Marc Cherry doesn't like to be that easy. There's got to be a twist or turn somewhere. It can't be as easy as Orson saying "Nope, not her" and the neighbor saying the same thing.
I don't know...the neighbor probably has some weird skeletons in her closet also. The way this show goes, she's probably related to an already well-established character as well.
That whole Applewhite thing was bizarre and totally disconnected from the rest of the show.

Apparently everyone agrees it was "I miss you Monique"
I want to know who the heck Monique is.
The things he did just seem to be too weird for him not to know where the wife is. I still think it might be her too... the teeth thing. I'm wondering now if Carolyn(the neighbor) is all innocent though.
There's also still the issue of him running over Mike because Mike knew something, what is that?

I could smack Nora. I really hope Lynette loses it soon and takes the kids for a trip somewhere. Tom needs a serious wakeup call. And both need to go for custody of Kayla (poor kid).
Who else.....ah, Gabby. Something told me that baby was not going to be what they thought it would be. The focus was on what it looked like too much and sure enough, an African American baby. A switcheroo. I still think she and Carlos are getting back together. Maybe for February sweeps? That would be good timing.

Mary, yes I've heard they get back together, I think by November Sweeps. I do know they will be LIVING TOGETHER(but hating each other) for the next few episodes, doing everything they can to make the other mad.
