UPDATE: Plane, train, or bus

Fact.. they have a thing called the tri rail which goes from West Palm to Miami, they have also have a great bus system and another train thing down there.. for public transport when I get down there..

I never thought I'd say this.. But Miami's transit system makes the Lynx {orlando's} and the Hartline {Tampa's} look bad.

Tampa's is pretty good but nowhere near as good as Miami's..

Anyway.. back on topic lol.. It's down to the train or the plane it appears.. I have about 3 weeks to decide.. {since I've set my 10/19 paycheck as the 1 where I'll be using some of those $ for my hotel and my train/plane or bus $}

ive always used a bus, but thats for cruises out of miami/ ft. lauderdale

A cruise 1 time would be pretty cool lol.. and I actually like taking the Greyhound.. But I wanna try something different..

I may ask the people I work with.. something tells me about 90% are gonna say spend the extra $ and fly lol.. but I'm still undecided..

I'd spend the extra $ to fly from Orlando to Miami on a much bigger airline than Southwest which gets me from Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale.. {though I've already been told about the light rail thing that goes to Ft Lauderdale}..

Remember, Fort Laurderdale airport is actually a little bit closer to Dolphin Stadium than Miami airport is. Also, Southwest is a very big airline, though I'm not sure how airline size makes a difference.

shows how geographically sound I am lol.. I didn't know Dolphins stadium was closer to Ft. Lauderdale lol..

I'm also thinking about trying to find a hotel on or near Miami Beach.. I wanna be able to get by the water.. maybe spend a day or 2 at the beach because I'm sure it won't be too cool yet in South Fla.

Haven't checked these out but the claim here is Miami on a budget so you might want to check some of the places out as they appear to be on the beach. I don't know how they would compare to the big chains.

Ok guys.. Update time..

I have made up my mind. I'll be airborne! I have decided to spend the few extra $ and go by air.

I'm looking on Travelocity for a nice hotel on or near the Miami Beach area. They have some nice deals there.. and the plane plus hotel deals aren't too bad..

Lets see what happens..
