Looks like a weakening wave now as its axis passes the "hot spot" east of the upper trof. Chances of development are very low in the Caribbean. However, there's a chance that moisture will be entrained by the upper low to the north (as the GFS suggests). If that happens, then some type of subtropical storm could form north of the Caribbean as the GFS indicates. No threat to land, though, once the current storms move north of the Caribbean.

NRL now has a new center at 22.3n-65.3w.In other words well north of Culebra,Vieques and Puerto Rico where the 65w longitud is.caribepr, msbee we can get less rain than anticipated by the NWS in San Juan from this if the main area of rain moves well north.

I am just north of you at SANDY HILL BAY on ANGUILLA we happily got and inch and three quarters of rain, also my utility room beneath the pool deck flooded AGAIN ( a few inches) I have to figure a way to keep rain out of there!
I signed up not to long ago on this board (for the tropical stuff). We have been living on Anguila since last July.

welcome aboard to Storm2k, neighbor!
This board is invaluable during hurricane season.
We are getitng some rain here now but not much.
So far you have received a lot more rain than we have.
Luis and MJ, it looks like you guys in PR and Culebra are lucking out from this system..
Is there still a flood watch issued for you?
