This is beginning to setup to be a significant threat. Not only from a severe weather threat as EWG just pointed out, but a serious flood threat.

The PWS values are as high if not higher than what we seen back with 98L. With 98L though, the training storms stayed just offshore. I'm becoming concerned with the area in the Gulf building back towards the coast.

Angleton/Lake Jackson area has received over 5 inches from this latest line. Still perplexed on how they have not issued a flash flood warning….

Correct YG...The line over my area should push towards Pasadena, while the new line that you see over EL Campo looks to be heading your way.

The winds have picked up big time here in Baytown, and getting more and more rain all the time.

Is it just me or did the local Houston/Galveston have to get pushed into making the flood watch by the National Weather Service? The weather office here is normaly very low key. At some point they need to go along with the other area forecast offices.

You are correct!

The tornadic supercell passed to my W. Other supercells offshore moving N will become another threat.

What do you guys think the threat is for the Orange area. I've been watching the radar and it is mainly green with some yellow. Wouldn't a tornado typically be seen in a stronger cell? Like those in Brazoria county?? I'm terrified of tornadoes so I need a support group right now!!!!
