Check out how the temperatures have fallen in Waco over the last few hours:

5pm = 89F

6pm = 77F

7pm = 69F

8pm = 63F

That is an almost 30F drop in just 4 hours!

Looks like the rain is working in closer to I-10 now in the Houston area. Hope my MIL in Wimberly still has dry feet. She's right on the Blanco river and it looks like a lot of flooding going on out her way...

My family and were in Wimberley back in early August. The people around there said they don't remember the Blanco being so low. I can't wait to go back right before Christmas.

The radar is starting to fill in pretty quickly now. It's pouring here in Montgomery County.

THE FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE EXTREME W PORTIONS OF THE
CWA BETWEEN NOW AND 10 PM...WHICH IS ABOUT 2 HOURS FASTER
THAN THE AFT TIMING ESTIMATE. EVEN THOUGH THE FRONT WILL LIKELY
MOVE A LITTLE FASTER ACROSS THE CWA...THE PRECIP FCST IS
ESSENTIALLY UNCHANGED...AS THE INITIAL BOUNDARY IS SHALLOW
WITH ELEVATED INSTABILITY AND DIFFLUENCE ALOFT PERSISTING
BEHIND THE FRONT. THEREFORE FOR EASTERN AREAS...THE FLOOD
THREAT WILL STILL EXTEND INTO THE MORNING HOURS ON THURSDAY.
MOST ACTIVITY THIS EVENING HAS BEEN N OF I-10...HOWEVER THIS

MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

Man that is one nasty looking cell. Hopefully that will weaken some and won't cause too many problems for ya'll in Houston.

BTW: It is now 60 degrees in Fredericksburg with a 15 mph north wind. It feels great.

I hope this round of storms doesn't take anyone's life. That mom and daughter who drowned in their vehicle has been on my mind an awful lot. I hope we all get nothing but rain (not too much) and COOL temps.

60 degrees sounds really nice. I've got my blanket ready to snuggle up in and I'll make some hot chocolate from scratch to celebrate.

I heard that the storm could occur arond 3:00 AM. I would say between 2 to 4 AM. I fear flooding more. I don't want to wake up either tonight either, like on Monday. AAARRRGGHHHH!!!!!!

4 counties now under warnings! This storm cell is just not letting up one bit. In fact, it looks like it is becoming more of a bowed line-segment as it moves east. Could become (and likely is already) a decent damaging wind threat.
