STRANGE ODOR BRIEFLY CAUSES SOME TENSION AT WAL MART

Kissimmee- Some slightly tense moments ensued this evening at a local Wal Mart on Osceola Parkway tonight. The moments caused by what appeared to be a mixture of old stagnant water, and perhaps a leaking container of laundry detergent.

The "incident" began shortly before 6pm ET Friday when a customer allegedly out loud may have over reacted by stating there was a "toxic dump" type odor coming from the grocery side of the Wal Mart. The customer then went outside, called the Kissimmee Fire Dept. which responded with a Haz Mat team as well.

The store was not evacuated, but the area of the alleged odor was cordoned off till after 7pm ET while the "odor" and apparent leak that caused the odor was cleaned up.

Numerous associates of the Wal Mart, from the grocery section helped with the clean up and cordoning off the area as a precaution. "The smell was making my stomach sick" said Wal Mart associate Marcelina Thompson, who first discovered the stench shortly before the customer arrived to complain.

Store management opened the area back up around 7:15pm ET when the area was cleaned up and the odor was eradiacated.

LOL you aint kiddin.. Apparently the odor came from some old stagnant water underneath the dairy case.. When we dug the floor up last night.. we found a giant puddle of stagnant stenchy water underneath the dairy case where it lines right next to the aisle 13 risers.. {shelves}
