Question about a weather station...

#1 Postby James » Sat Oct 28, 2006 8:29 am

Hi there everyone, just looking for opinions on the Davis Vantage Pro 2 weather station. I've been after one for a couple of years now, and my parents have just told me that they'll buy me one for Christmas if I want. I was just wondering what the opinions of those who own them here were regarding the station. Are they as good as I've been hearing?

Thanks guys. :)

Just to warn you they are twice the price here as in the USA due to imports only being allowed to one supplier. The wireless ones in the USA are illegal here due to the frequency so be careful if you want to import one as you need a UK model, although import tax would be a fair bit.

I'd like one myself but at the moment I'm stuck with the really cheap one I got a few years ago.

Look at this forum for any questions you have. The Davis is definitely one of the better ones.
