Man shoplifts..then moons

NORTH PORT -- Police are accusing a man of stealing from a convenience store early Tuesday and then returning later to expose his buttocks to the store's clerks.

Police arrested Edward Joseph Parsons, 18, and are recommending charges of retail theft and disorderly conduct.

Parsons was caught when he returned to the store 45 minutes after purchasing a cigarette lighter and mooned the store clerks through the window.

When officers confronted Parsons, he said he did it because the clerks were "looking at him funny" while he was in the store, located off Sumter Boulevard.

Cough syrup and energy pills, which clerks reported missing from the shelves, were found among Parsons' belongings, according to the report.

Parsons is under supervised release from the Sarasota County jail.

I understand where he is coming from. When people look at me funny while stealing materials to produce drugs, I generally moon them.

There have been a few instances of people stealing my one-liners, but I've never been mooned.

Well, when I first saw the title of the thread, I just knew that the article would say "George" but only because it said the guy mooned somebody. :lol: :lol: :lol:
