Flu Shots

#1 Postby CajunMama » Tue Nov 07, 2006 10:05 am

Just got mine a few minutes ago. Our work pays for them every year. A $20 flu shot is well worth it rather than if everyone were to come down with the flu.

I have never had one, and don't plan on starting anytime soon.

You've just reminded me, i an get one this year! I couldn't afford one in Ohio, but now i'm back here in England with a free health service!

However, the downside of something that is free...i may have to wait for weeks before i can get one..stupid waiting lists!

I'm getting mine in 40 minutes at work. It only costs 10 dollars to get them at work. Its better to get a shot, then to be down and out for however long it takes to get through. Plus, with the asthma, I'm not into taking any chances.

Not bothering with it, I don't want to get sick which I always seem to after I take it, when I don't get it I don't get the flu, go figure

Same here angelwing. Gave 'em up years ago. I figure I'll get sick every 5 years with the flu, and that's better than making sure I get it with the shot every year.

I was supposed to get mine last month here at work - didn't have time so I'm taking my chances.
