Very Difficult Trivia -- How many did you get?

#1 Postby Regit » Thu Nov 09, 2006 5:29 pm

Here's a fun test of your trivia knowledge. These are a set of very difficult trivia questions to test how much you know. Write down your answers then tally them at the end. Answers are below, but DON'T CHEAT!

1)What was the penultimate day of the penultimate month of the penultimate year of the 20th century?

2)What was the most popular semi-automatic handgun of Nazi Germany?

3)Of where was Marilyn Monroe speaking when she said that "they give you $50,000 for a kiss and 50 cents for your soul?"

4)Who was the NL homerun king for half of the seasons in the 1980's?

5)By what method did singer Phil Collins announce to his wife his intentions to seek divorce?

6)What living thing, commonly found in US homes, can jump 130 times its own height?

7)What calendar date is the birthday of fewer Americans than any other date?

8)How many times was the phrase "Beam me up Scotty" used in Star Trek?

9)July 5, 1643 was the first day one of these was documented in the Americas.

10)Who was the first American woman to graduate law school?

11)What is the word for a building's outgoing, non-sewage water?

12)If you took all of this mineral that has ever been mined, it would measure about 60 cubic feet.

13)Who is Sean Lennon's godfather?

14)The protective box containing an airplane's data recorder is commonly made of what?

15)What volcano's name means "mountain of the god of cold?"

1)November 29, 1999.
2)The Luger
3)Hollywood
4)Mike Schmidt
5)Fax
6)Flea
7)February 29
8)Zero
9)Tornado
10)Ada Kepley
11)Gray Water
12)Gold
13)Elton John
14)Stainless Steel
15)Kilimanjaro

So how many did you get?

If you got:

1-3 --- Time to study!
4-7 --- Pretty good, but you'll still learn plenty from watching "Jeopardy!"
8-11 --- You can brag about this for quite a while.
12-14 --- You really need to consider making money off of your knowledge!
15 --- Ken Jennings would be jealous.
