Your favorite Christmas song
Can you believe the holidays are almost upon us? Seems this year has flown by, and we will be listening to Christmas music and watching Christmas specials.
Which bring me to the question - what is your favorite Christmas song? mine is without doubt "O Holy Night".

"I Only Want You for Christmas" - Alan Jackson.
Story behind this but to make a long story short, me and my wife were supposed to get married on X-Mas Eve 1998, and we found out that day it couldn't happen due to some shifty, last minute legal moves by her soon to be Ex Mob Husband, his scum lawyer, and a crooked Judge. The cake had to go in the freezer
But -- 3 weeks later it happened
, and this song is one I will think about and associate till the day I die.
2nd favorite, off the same album is "The Anglels Cried", which I love simply because it's the best duet X-Mas song I've ever heard. The mandolin and strings are incredible and A. Krauss is just plain sweet sounding.

Pburgh wrote:My favorite religious Christmas song is Silent Night. I also get goosebumps hearing the Halliuah Chorus.
I also love the duet by Vince Gill and his daughter Jenny, "Let there be Peace on Earth." It's so beautiful that it brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it.
Oh Pburgh, Let There Be Peace On Earth brings tears to my eyes also. My mother passed away Dec. 17, 1994 and that was one of the songs sung at her funeral. I still cry when i hear that song.
