How many meds do you take a day?

How many do I take? None.

How many am I supposed to be taking? One -- synthroid. I'm such a non-compliant patient. I really need to get back on it, especially now that it costs just pennies at Wal-Mart.

Flurocet for migraines. And i will probably be starting some kind of beta blocker again soon to slow my heart rate down.

Pain meds 4x's a day
Chlonodine (blood pressure)
Micardis (blood pressure with a diauritic)
a new cholestoral lower med (I can't remember the name )

Does that clonidine knock you out like it does me....It literally will make me pass out..

Man does it EVER! I'm SUPPOSED to take ".4" MG. a DAY there's no friggin' WAY I could take that much, I'd be DEAD! I take the .2 mg. at bedtime with my Nueronton (which btw I forgot to add to my list of meds!)

I backed off on the Clonidine because of the Micardis....the Micardis dropped my pressure to ZERO it seemed like (120/68)....for me, that was TOO LOW, I walked around in a stupor for DAYS until I figured it out

Sunny....yeah, my back is actually getting worse, I'm not out in the field as much as I used to be, I stuck behind a DESK now 99.50% of the time now doing reports, follow up phone calls, reviewing security tapes of various businesses....now THAT'S a "True, Blue CSI!" I had to quite the palates...it was getting to be too much!

I learned the hard way...I was driving ...I actually had to get to a parking lot where I slept for a hour or so...It brings me down to 130/80 or so...Which seems like zero to me ..I average 200/100 been as high as 256/150...........

I'll do an Ambien or an Ativan occasionally to sleep, and if I just want to relax a bit from a stressful day at work, I'll hit my wife's stash of Zanax.

I don't take any meds, but I do get about 20,000 mg of caffiene a day.

Neurontin - generic = "gabapentin" for JQ! (My boss
is a neurologist and has a lot of folks on that!)

My only prescription med is for my high blood pressure - Diovan, 320 mg.
one a day. I AM losing weight, and, hopefully, as my weight drops, I may
be able to come off of that! As the cold winter progresses, I may have to
go back on Mobic (now available as generic "meloxicam" for JQ) , but,
as I keep dropping the weight, there may be less stress on the joints with
my osteoarthritis, and, I may not need that, either. Keeping my fingers
crossed!

I take 150mg of Synthroid to replace thyroid funtion due to cancer in it in 1999
and 1000 mg of Bayer asprin for muscle spasms in my back. The asprin is taken about 2 times a day in the am when going out on crossing guard duty and in the afternoon. If I don't take it, I will be in pain with every little move I make.

Today at work we caught someone calling in a fraudulent controlled-drug prescription. We called the doc and he thinks that one of his secretaries or other staff called in an rx in a patients name, but will actually pick it up and use it for themselves. He said this person has done it 8 times already! But he doesn't know who it is !!?! We called the police and everything, but since i left at 5pm I didn't get to see if anyone was arrested or not.
