In REMEMBRANCE of all our Armed Forces

#1 Postby tropicana » Fri Nov 10, 2006 8:57 pm

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 11 is REMEMBRANCE DAY in Canada, VETERANS DAY in the United States.

To those who have served.
And to those who have fallen,
Thank you.
You will forever be remembered.

Dedicated to all the Canadian Armed Forces and
the United States Armed Forces and
for everyone else who have served, and are serving.

LEST WE FORGET.

Thank you and thank you to those that also serve and have fallen..without your sacrifice we would not have the freedoms that we take so much advantage of.

God bless every last one of you that have or are in our armed forces. You're the people without whom this nation couldn't enjoy the freedoms we have.

What a difference between our countries on this topic. We don't have anything like this and the military isn't seen as something you should be proud of, on the contrary, it is seen as something a country should be ashamed of. I sometimes wonder why...

Anyway, I'd like to thank all the brave soldiers who fought for freedom in my country during WW2

That's interesting Yarrah. We celebrate the fact that our men and women are serving to protect our country. In a perfect world, a military isn't needed.
