Cold air on the way for December

It looks like some very cold air is in store for the Eastern US around the 1st of December. Thickness values even show it cold enough in the upper layers of the atmosphere to support snow.

so you are saying another cold blast is in store for around Dec 1st after this one now effecting the eastern CONUS for thansgiving week?

it's going to be a cooooold winter folks.... :grrr:

Farmer's almanac

.....and the Farmer's almanac has been calling for snow the week of x-mas in the SE since early fall. If that materializes I'll drop all other weather info sources and go with the Almanac!! :eek:

im hoping this will set up but i live in florida and do not expect it.

Okay notice the date on when this thread was posted. That is right Nov 20th nearly 2 weeks before this event happened.
