He proposed!!

#1 Postby conestogo_flood » Tue Dec 05, 2006 12:09 pm

I don't even care how this will be taken on here, but I'm so excited.

Yesterday, I was Christmas shopping with my boyfriend at Walmart, and in the yarn aisle he did it!! He stopped me, got down on his knees and pulled out a silver ring, and asked me to marry him! I said yes of course... I didn't even sleep last night. The wedding will be sometime next summer, we haven't set any dates yet.

Aww, how nice! I guess you must feel a bit strange right (I know I would if something like this happened), but I'm sure it's great feeling

I hope you two have a great time and an even better wedding next year.

Congratulations!

One thing is for sure. You have a unique story. How many people get engaged in the yarn aisle.

Was there some significance to that, or was it a when-you-least-expect-it type of thing?

He was waiting for the right moment, and well you know how it goes... no one was around, obviously: it's yarn, so he decided it then.

Forgive me for not posting before now. Congrats on your engagement! I wish you both years of happiness......

I also wish I knew your first name Conestego/Flood - that's a hard nic to type and a first name is more personal.
