It's 37 degrees at my house right now here in GB,we'll probably hit 31 or 32 by morning.Crestview is already at 28 degrees and it's only 9:30,they will experience freezing conditions for a good 9 to 10 more hours with a forecasted low of 22.

THE POTENTIAL FOR RECORD BREAKING LOWS OVER THE FORECAST AREA WILL
BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT AS COLD ARCTIC AIR CONTINUES TO ADVECT
SOUTHWARD.

LOWS WILL RANGE FROM 19 TO 25 DEGREES FOR MOST INLAND AREAS TONIGHT.
THE COLDEST TEMPERATURES WILL LIKELY OCCUR OVER NORTHERN SECTIONS OF
SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI STRETCHING EAST INTO EXTREME WESTERN SECTIONS
OF SOUTHWEST ALABAMA. SOME OF THE NORMALLY COLDER PLACES SUCH AS
VALLEYS OVER INTERIOR AREAS COULD ALSO EXPERIENCE LOWS IN THE UPPER
TEENS BY DAYBREAK TUESDAY. PROTECTIVE MEASURES SHOULD BE CONSIDERED
FOR OUTDOOR COLD SENSITIVE PLANTS...PETS AND EXPOSED PIPES FOR
TONIGHT.

Wow

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 22. Wind chill values between 15 and 20. Blustery, with a north wind between 15 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 51. Wind chill values between 10 and 20 early. North wind between 5 and 15 mph.

Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 16. Northeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.

2 Days of temperatures of 15-20 degrees and a real low of 16 for florida in december. Seems like my hometown type weather bufalo ny. And i think it gets too cold here in tampa in the winter.

I can't remember the last time we had 2 hard freeze events just in one week. It's crazy.People in the area need to be preparing for the next couple of nights.

From Mobile AFD
.NOW IS THE TIME TO CHECK EXPOSED WATER PIPES FOR ENSURE ADEQUATE
INSULATION IS IN PLACE...AS WELL AS MAKING PLANS TO MOVE PETS AND
COLD SENSITIVE POTTED PLANTS INDOORS. ENSURE VEHICLES AND
STATIONARY ENGINES SUCH AS AUTOMATIC GENERATORS HAVE ADEQUATE
ANTIFREEZE.

CHECK YOUR HOME HEATING SYSTEM AS WELL AS CARBON MONOXIDE AND
SMOKE DETECTORS. ALSO CHECK ON ELDERLY NEIGHBORS AND RELATIVES
ENSURING THEY HAVE ADEQUATE HEAT. ENSURE SPACE HEATERS ARE IN
GOOD WORKING ORDER AND PLACED AWAY FROM COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS.

AGRICULTURAL INTERESTS SHOULD CONSIDER PROTECTIVE MEASURES FOR
LIVESTOCK...GREENHOUSES...ORCHARDS...AND MACHINERY FOR THESE
UNUSUALLY COLD TEMPERATURES.

NWS Point forecast is predicting 15 tonight and 13 tomorrow night. The wind will stay up a bit tonight or I shudder to think how low it would go.

It's already in the low 40's with howling winds here. :jacket: :froze:
