I've never met a weather fan I didn't like (well, now that I'm really thinking about it, there were a couple, maybe three, or then there was....). Literally, during the 1980's and 1990's, I met hundreds of them all over the country.
Of the S2k'rs, I've met Pinetop's real deals, Azsnowman and Michelle, and I know we'll do that again one of these days. Only because we were part of S2k after our migration from the dark side, I'd like to meet those who sat first and often on the S2K Front Porch or before the Pot Belly Stove. I'm sure I would enjoy the company and conversations of many others of you too.
I do wander from Phoenix to San Diego to L.A. to Chicago every year, but work keeps me close to the Valley of the Sun a lot of the time. If ever you're here for a visit, drop me a note and we'll see what we can make happen if we can.
Otherwise, somewhere down the road I'll be parked at "the home" and be a lot easier to find but a lot less fun to talk to.
And by the way, they make some great Margueritas in Arizona, you know!

YOU, Azskyman, are one of my 'gotta meet 'em" S2K posters...all those I'd want to meet could fill up Lambert's (Home of Throwed Rolls), which is about one mile from my humble abode.
Bill - I 100% agree with you there! Steve - you came in at #4 on my list. After of course I had to mention the very first 3 wx friends I ever "met", way back in 1999. There's just something about you Steve, that everyone instantly likes and respects. Hey didn't someone dub you a funny nickname, way back as well, Father Steve? LOL Or was it Pastor Steve.......

Thanks for the nice words! Poppysky was the name that evolved somewhere along the line, and it works for me since it clearly references the fact that I must be a geezer by now.
Also important is that the nickname quells any thought about putting me on a pedestal.
I'd enjoy meeting any one of you. Whether you would feel the same once you had might be another story!

I would of like to have met Bob Breck. He is not a storm2k member, but a New Orleans channel 8 meterologist. He was supposed to come to our 1st gathering in New Orleans, but he was a no show. I would of also liked to meet Zack. I don't remember his user name on storm2k. But, he is from Harvey and he is only 17, but really knows his weather stuff! He knows Bob Breck really well. Zack has his own weather forum for the north gulf coast.

I thought that was the second gathering where he was supposed to come with Zack. If that is the case you would have missed him anyway.
