Naww, that is an award I'd proudly take!!! And well the other one is very nice too (sincerely appreciate of that one as well!).

I still would like to have a Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker and even my liberal family members say - give it up Mary! I see them proudly displayed on bumpers. But since I'm anti any bumper sticker, I didn't pick one up back then.....LOL I don't like to muck up my bumper with anything other than street dirt. But that's just me, yeah I know - odd!

Hey..thanks for the nominations too! Nice to know I can still be a contributor here...even though I don't do it much any more. Maybe in 2007 I can do better!

Seems to me that once we get through the new year, once we really start getting serious about changes in the war agenda, the next Presidential election, and we see whether Trump actually sues Rosie, you'll need my help in keeping the peace!!!

On the other hand, with all that going on maybe I'll be angry and throwing punches next year and be nominated for the Jekyll and Hyde award....person whose personality has made the biggest change this year!!!

Have fun in the meantime. S2k is a really good place to hang out even when the weather is boring! ( or if you are stuck at Stapleton International on Christmas!).

The Purple Heart is a U.S. military decoration awarded in the name of the President of the United States to those who have been wounded or killed while serving on or after 5 April 1917 with the U.S. military.

In this application, it's given to a board member who has gone through some sort of pain or accident, etc. (i.e. your car accident...)
