slightly off topic - but did anyone just hear the sonic boom? In case you missed it, space shuttle Discovery just passed right over Houston and you could hear the sonic boom really well. It was pretty cool.

Yeah...we went outside to see if we could see any contrails like we did the last time it came in over us (which was at night). Didn't see any...but we did hear the booms. Really cool. :)

Over Houston huh? I guess it came up over Mexico, then took that route to the East over SETX on the way to Kennedy. It's 1st landing attempt would've put it coming over the Yucatan on the way to Fla.

I still remember hearing the sonic boom from Columbia as it passed over Dallas. I had my camera out and ready to go watch it streak across the sky, but I forgot. I didn't realize the tragedy that ensued until about 30 mins later.

Stand by, Ag.....
I'm working up some intense scientific gobbledygook in hopes of shooting down this...this...."forecast" of yours...! We'll have none of this optimistic -removed- on our most glorious of bah-hum-blogs!!

Your column's not cold enough...and your moisture's to shallow for this "snow" of which you speak! Be gone!!!

Okay...I've been watching far too many Christmas movies on TV. But I love seeing some humor on here. And I'm weary of those who go out of their way to point out all the reasons why it's impossible for the weather to be Christmas-like on Christmas.

-removed- is not a sin when it involves snow and not hurricanes. Let's all have some fun here!

Thanks, Ag...and I hope Texarkana gets a foot!!!

Well speaking of that Sonic Boom, that I totally missed... I did see a quite funky cloud this afternoon to the north of Houston... I was going from Katy Mills to Brookshire and there was this really odd looking cloud to the north... Even the kids were like whats up with that cloud?? Very strange, there were no other clouds in the sky, just that one... Are there clouds are condinentation when there is a Boom? It was around the same time of when that Boom was supposed to happen....?
