Help! lol Decisions decisions

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Sat Dec 23, 2006 8:46 pm

Ok Folks.. I know we're not past 12/25 yet but I need help deciding on another present for something else.

Andrea's birthday is January 15th. I have narrowed my choices apparently down to 2 options..

1. Orlando Magic/Boston Celtics Jan 7th in Orlando. Andrea loves basketball she loves the Celtics. I get off work that day at 3 {6pm game}she can spend time at my house that weekend like she usually does.. and then we can obviously go back home after the game.

2. WWE/ECW Wrestling in Lakeland {Jan 2nd 7:30} She loves wrestling but I absolutely can not stand it lol.. Although I'd actually be more than willing to sit through this with her for the 2-3 hours the event is. Only problem is with her living in Haines City, we'd have to get a hotel in Lakeland for the night and take the bus back the next morning. Also.. I'd have to take a day or 2 off work that I can almost guarantee u wal mart won't wanna give me. Plus I'd rather go to the basketball game. I know its about her and not me.. but I'd rather be with her somewhere where I know we're both happy.

Plus.. for the wrestling thing If I really wanted to, I could pay for her tix, bus ticket, 1 night hotel room and she could go alone. But I'm not sure what to do.. lol

I'm leaning towards the basketball game.. what would u guys do..? Andrea hasn't told me flat out either way but she did tell me "thats fine" when I offered to take her to Magic/Celtics.. but she also claims she "has her heart set" on going to the wrestling..

Ok.. {takes breath and jumps off soapbox} let the debate begin..

I'd go with wrestling! Though I can't stand that "sport," it is her birthday! :)

Then again, with the way the NBA has been going in the last couple years, you might get a good wrestling match on the side.

True.. Thats whats leaning me in that direction.. it's her birthday not mine.. BUT.. remember.. Wal Mart probably won't just gracefully say 'all right take the 2 days off" and I know they'll hate me asking to switch my days with only a weeks notice..

So.. if I do get her tix for the wrestling.. She may end up having to go alone and I'll pay for her tix, tix for the bus and her 1 night hotel stay..

id go with the NBA... it would be no fun for her to go alone to the wrestling without you... you would be missing the enjoyment of actually seeing her enjoy it, since she loves it... but if you go to the NBA game..it would be something both of you would enjoy... and of course being with her and spending that special time with her would mean so much more than just being at the game itself.

Plus you avoid having to ask for time off from wally. So NBA it is!

Basketball - definitely! You should not bankrupt yourself or jeopardize your employment over a simple birthday present. Why'd you even tell her there was a choice? NEVER give a female a choice - you'll always pick the wrong thing.

Yeah, I'd go for the NBA too. Why would you want to pick the one that has her going by herself?
