He surpassed Reagan 6 weeks ago as the oldest. He was the only President never elected to be either President or Vice President.

He has been sick a lot this year, so this was not unexpected.

There are 3 Presidents of the 20th century that have been treated especially unfairly by history. Gerald Ford was one of them.

It's a shame. He could have actually gotten something done had he not been hounded by the Nixon pardon and the way he came into office.

President Gerald Ford did the right thing by pardoning Richard Nixon from Watergate. He also brought back the prestige and respect to the Presidency. He lived a long life and served America well. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace Gerald Ford.

He was the last surviving member of the Warren Commission, which was appointed by Congress to investigate the assassination of JFK.

He appointed John Paul Stevens to the Supreme Court and he is still there today.

I liked him too. He seemed like the kinda guy who would be easy to be around and kinda fun to hand out with. Thoughts and prayers to his loved ones.
