My sister lives in Trinidad, Colorado (south of Pueblo), and, she had 18" from the blizzard of December 20-21, and, another 48" from the blizzard of last week - or, a whopping 5'6" of snow!!!
She's lived there for many years, but, has never seen this much snow at one time. Some of the old timers said that this has not been seen since the 1940's - it was so extreme that a number of flat-roofed buildings collapsed under the weight of this very heavy snowfall.
As per usual, TWC only gave a glancing mention of this - instead, they constantly focused on the crowds at Denver airport - call them the hotel weather channel.

That's unlikely to be 2 feet. Snow out there isn't as high in moisture content as it is out east (not normally, at least). It's probably closer to 16-18 inches or so. Still, that's an amazing amount of snow for 3 hours! It could even be less snow than that if it's really fluffy.
And I would LOVE to be in the Denver area right now!
not the cascades or serria nevada that can't be said
