Don't forget! New episodes return THIS SUNDAY!

:woo:

In the episode: Bree faints when Alma walks up to her door and says "Bree Hodge, I'm Alma Hodge". It's hilarious. Kayla has an outburst in a restaurant telling Lynette she's not her mommy. Gabby gets flowers from a secret admirer while on a date with Bill. She accuses Carlos of sabotaging her relationship. A fight between Susan and Bree leads to the end of their friendship. Bree tells Susan to "get out" at a dinner party she hosts to show off Alma, and tells her the "friendship is over".

Stumbled upon this DH quiz. My apologies if anyone has posted it already. Brent - you've probably already taken it - multiple times!

I scored 90%, I got Mrs. Applewhite's son's names mixed up. Sigh. Well, she wasn't a very important character......LOL

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6Md0yrZSWE

I cannot wait til Sunday!

:woo:

Sneak previews:

Susan tells the other women that Orson was in the mental institution and that somehow is evidence against him in Monique's murder. She then meets with Mike and talks about Ian's demands. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7-arA1sSn8

Gabby finds flowers on her porch after a date with Bill. She thinks they are from him, but he says they aren't. She then suspects they are from Carlos and that he's trying to sabotage her relationship. Funny ending. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJlw8TtKgjk

I remember her from "The Powers That Be" which I mostly watched because of Elizabeth Berridge. And she was Beau Bridges wife in Seabiscuit.

Valerie Mahaffey had a role on Northern Exposure also. She was the wacky, hyprochondriac wife of the chef who cooked in bare feet (in Alaska to boot!). That actor went on to do Chicago Hope (his name escapes me right now). Joel (the doc on NE) was at his wits end trying to care for her. Valerie M. seems to be good at playing left of center characters, fragile, out there yet endearing too. I loved her comment tonight - what is it with you and redheads Orson!

Tonight's show was good. A lot happened to carry storylines for weeks. Paul Young in jail with Mike. Didn't expect that! Little Kayla the evil stepdaughter, out to exact revenge for her mother's death - yep, saw that coming. That little actress is sure playing the part well. Loved how Lynette finally realized what her best weapons were - her 3 boys. LOL Even stories to keep teens interested - Andrew, Danielle, Julie, Austin. But poor Julie - she's going to get really hurt. Carlos and Gabby are made for eachother. If there's ever to be a reunion, it's going to be a while. I at first thought John the gardener sent the flowers. Guess not. Who else - Susan and Ian. Sorry, their storyline somewhat bores me. And poor Edie - her little scene was almost an after thought.

CM - you're right, she was on Cheers. Here is her IMDB bio page. It's quite impressive! She's been a guest star on a ton of shows! Too many to list.

Really good episode. Glad this show is back.

Really like evil Alma. I cannot wait to see what she does next. I hope Gloria comes back too(I think she will, she's supposed to be in 7 episodes I think). I loved Bree's whole reaction when Alma showed up.

Susan obviously still loves Mike, otherwise she wouldn't be doing all these things for him(calling the police to try and get the attention on someone else?). I did see her point about seeing him one last time to tell him about Ian's deal though, so I did think Ian was a little wrong to get so upset. Oh yeah... and technically Ian is still MARRIED, so he doesn't really have the right to complain.

Kayla is a little devil, just like her mom. I hope Tom was able to get her to turn her feelings around though. The last thing Lynette needs is another evil spawn to take care of.

I want Carlos and Gabby back together. They are the perfect couple honestly. I loved it when they were both mad at each other and he was "mocking" her.

HAHA, I loved the ending. Go Alma! You will not find any of those things on Wisteria Lane. :P

Julie has a serious storyline! It's amazing. Austin is up to no good just like I suspected...

Next week looks good, will have to look at it more.

TV Guide's DH Commentary - a viewer asks an important question, in the comments below the article. "Did Orson divorce Alma before he married Bree?" I don't recall if that was ever mentioned.

What kind of injection did Alma give herself??? How sweet that Carlos knew each flower for each of Gabby's emotions. Ahhhhh I loved that.

He told Bree in the premiere after Carolyn showed up the first time that he was "granted a divorce on the grounds of abandonment". Now whether he was telling the truth remains to be seen.

I was wondering about the Alma injection too... interesting.

Next week, Orson goes to talk to her and they end up kissing. I thought he didn't love her.

Marcia Cross, who is expecting twins in April, was put on immediate bed rest last week for the remainder of her pregnancy, TV Guide has learned. The doctor's orders sent Desperate Housewives producers scrambling to wrap up Bree's current story line, ultimately deciding that if Cross can't come to the shoot, then the shoot will come to Cross. At the end of this week, they will move the production of the show to the actress' West Los Angeles home for two days. (Cross — whose TV alter ego isn’t pregnant — had only planned on taping two more shows after the Feb. 11 episode because it was becoming too difficult to hide her growing bump.)

While Cross is resting upstairs in bed, the Housewives team will be downstairs transforming the home she moved into just months ago into a likeness of Bree's orderly abode. "They are painting the walls, moving in props and furniture from the set...," says a source from the set. "They're basically making Marcia's house into Bree's."
