Hi everyone. It has been a long last few days. Sorry Jeremy for not calling you back. I have been kind of in a fog. Thanks for passing along the info.
My grandfather remains in ICU, but is improving some. Still don't know what is causing the infection. Fever has been gone since yesterday morning but we are still worried. Thanks for all the prayers everyone!

Hi everyone. Well, my grandfather is in his own room now (which Jeremy informed you of... thanks guy!) but remains on oxygen and on IV antibiotics. We are still not sure when he will come home but he is doing much better.
Apparently, he had a major urinary tract infection that led to the extremely high fever that sent him into septic shock. Fortunately, they were able to treat it quickly and he is improving.
An unfortunate setback occurred when they gave him some antibiotics that he was allergic too that sent his pulse rate skyrocketing and almost sent him into cardiac arrest. A thorough heart check determined that there was no damage from it.
All in all things are looking up. Thanks for your prayers. I love each and every one of you. The family is tired but we are making it. Your words of encouragement and caring kept me going when I didn't think I had the strength. God bless you!
