Well Minneapolis pretty much SUCKED.

Out of 10,000 only 17 made it to Hollywood.

and judging from the previews, Seattle sucks worse, if that's even possible.

Let me see what this rocker guys mindset was

"I can sing an ABBA song with my Metallica/Nirvana type voice. It sounds soooooooooooo right. I'll use it for everything."

"Now I'm going to cry like a baby because they don't want me."

How sad.

Aw i felt bad for the kid...wasn't he only like 16?

Now the people from Seattle look like they were brought to the auditions from the shortbus. It should be hilarious to see the next episode@

And I thought the auditions at Houston, TX were awful in season 3.

Well, you can count me as helping make that happen. This is the first time I've watched.

I have watched a few episodes (partially) toward the end of the season, but this is the first time I've seen tryouts and started from the beginning. I was cracking up last night!

Heh.

Simon is on record as saying Seattle(tonight's auditions) is the worst city they've ever done, so brace yourself. I also heard this morning on the radio that Paula Abdul and Jewel did not get along in Minneapolis.

Wow, that's a lot of people who watched.

So little talent last night. And Seattle didn't look like it had too much either.

My mom saw this on the news last night and pointed it out to me.. that out of the past 5 seasons nearly all Top Two contestants have been from the Southern half of the US and all winners have been from the South. I thought that was sort of interesting.

Yeah.

2 winners, Reuben and Taylor, were both from Birmingham! 8-) They actually have auditions there this year for the first time(coming up on the 31st I believe).
