He learned to drive from playing video games on a PlayStation.

That sentence above is from his mother. That is what many hours of being in front of a TV and playing video games does in this 21rst century generation.

He wanted to drive very early in his life but now the boy is in deep trouble with the law.

On CNN this morning, his mother was quoted as saying he has a HISTORY of stealing cars. Oh my, but the biggest question is how did he get on two flights without a ticket!!! How did he get past security without a boarding pass???? Homeland Security should hire him as a tester...

This is from the article

The boy's mother, Sakinah Booker, said he dislikes the neighborhood where the family lives and is afraid of a sex offender who lives nearby.

What in God's name is his pathetic excuse of a mother living near a sex offender if it scares the child so much? Burn that waste of carbon who is breathing my oxygen at the stake and do so yesterday

Let's quote out of context and use it as an excuse to suggest the death penalty for someone else. Jeez.

She also said she had hoped to move her four sons back to Dallas soon, but Semaj grew tired of waiting.

and how long should we wait?

A parents job is to look out for the best interest of their children. The time for making excuses about why parents are having trouble raising kids these days is OVER. They are having trouble like this simply due to bad parenting

Yes, poverty couldn't have a THING to do with it. It's nice to have the resources to just move. It's not nice, though, to have the arrogance to think eveyone on the planet has the resources to make their lives all right.

This may or not may be the issue, but to think you have all the answers for someone you know very little about and have never met is ridiculous.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a low income neighborhood that poses very little threat to the children living there?

What kind of sex offender lived in that neighborhood anyway? Sex offenders are not always pedophiles.

Do you know how long the mother had been trying to move out of the neighborhood? Do you know how close she was to actually being able to move?

The mother may indeed have problems with parenting. However, I don't pretend to have all the answers for her problems and I'm not so full of vicious hatred that I wish her dead.

i agree whole-heartedly with your statement about sex offenders. In most places, a pedophile would be listed as a sexual predator... BIG difference.
