COLD! Colorado finally has a real winter.

#1 Postby Scott Patterson » Mon Jan 22, 2007 10:25 am

I've been in South America for the past few weeks, but now I'm back to the cold. It looks like I really missed out.

Right now it's a warm (comparitively) -18, but that's a big warm up from last week. Looks like it was officially -35 in downtown Craig on the 15th, but my min guage thermometer says it got down to -42. Hasn't been above zero at night for weeks.

It took me 11 hours to dig out my driveway this weekend. It looks like Colorado is actually having a real winter in contrast to some of the other winters in recent years.

I've experienced those winter nights in the mountains of Colorado. That is cold, cold, cold. A good winter night in the high desert of Utah is no picnic either!
