STORM WARNING 267

This affects ocean area/s: PACIFIC

Tropical Cyclone ARTHUR [985hPa]centre was located near 28 South
147 West at 270500 UTC.
Position fair.
Repeat position 28S 147W at 270500 UTC.
Cyclone is moving southeast about 20 knots.
Expect sustained winds of 50 knots close to the centre decreasing to
35 knots in the next 12 hours.
Expect winds over 47 knots within 30 miles of centre and
over 33 knots within 120 miles of centre in the
southeastern semicircle and within 90 miles of centre in the
northwestern semicircle.
Forecast position near 31S 145W at 271800 UTC
and near 35S 142W at 280600 UTC.

This warning cancels and replaces warning 264.

25kt.
1. Within 60 miles of Low in southeastern semicircle: Clockwise 45kt,
easing to 35kt next 6-9 hours.
2. Outside area 1 and within 120 miles of Low in southeastern
semicircle: Clockwise 35kt.
Area of gales moving southeast with Low.
This warning cancels and replaces warning 267.
