Putting in the order tomorrow!

#1 Postby azsnowman » Sun Jan 28, 2007 3:42 pm

Well....we're going tomorrow and putting in the order for a brandy, newy vehicle. Ye ole' Explorer just kicked over 100K miles (actually 102K now) and before the value drops any MORE we're going to make a trade and cash for THIS 8-) We took a test drive yesterday and before we hit 1 mile...I was SOLD on it! PLENTY of room for me and LOTSA room for the dogs!

Here's a really good review of the FJ Cruiser....I'm tellin' ya, for the money, it's a ONE kick butt 4x4 8-) plus it's COMFORTABLE!

I'm 6'3", 275lbs and I had to SCOOT the seat UP to reach the pedals

Very nice Dennis! So do you have room for that brass monkey? Wouldn't want you to get caught in a mountain snowstorm without it! :cheesy:

Eh...when you make as much money as I do, gas is NO object :A:

YEAH right

Yeah, the mileage ain't too great BUT...when you depend on 4 wheel drive or should I say "Lost people" don't care about gas mileage! This vehicles primary use will be Search and Rescue, Cadaver Recovery missions...

JEN...of COURSE there's room, PLENTY O' ROOM for the "All great, ALL knowing" BM 8-) He'll have that "special place" all his own I mean, when on a search I ask him for his "Weather Wisdom"...cuz I don't want to freeze my *explicit* off while searching ya know

2001 Explorer: "Dora the Explorer"
1989 Dodge Ram Charger: "Charles da Charger"
1980 Ford F150 Pickup: "POS" *piece o' $*#@"

My first car was called B.O.B. or bucket of bolts. It was in the garage more often then not. My wife's uncle was honor when he found out that the car was carrying his name, only to learn what the true mean of BOB meant. My current care is named Andre :)

I called my old caprice classic the 'filthy dirty (sexually promiscuous expletive*)' but only in the most affectionate way.

EXACTLY...when I first saw them on the road I thought "Gesus...what a FUGLY car!" and as you said, it was ONLY when I drove one, sat inside the spacious interior did I change my mind and fell in LOVE with it...I seriously doubt from this point on that I will NEVER drive another (family)vehicle again!
