Another Round Of Florida Tornadoes

Here we go again! I woke up at 5am to the sound of thunder, turned on my pc to find out that all hell is breaking loose again in central Florida. Tornado warnings have been issued for Orange, Seminole, Volusia and Lake counties, with severe damage to "hundreds of homes" in Volusia and Lake counties, according to the Channel 2 website. I-4 is shut down from I-95 to 17-92 due to severla accidents caused by the severe weather.
So far at my house in Seminole County, we have had torrential rain and a lot of wind, but nothing extraordinarily severe. Hopefully no more damage will happen before these storms move eastward off the coast later this morning

This round of severe weather caught many residents here in the Orlando area by surprise, they went to bed with very little indications that the squall line that was going to move through the very early hours was going to be severe, the NWS did extend the Tornado Watch to our area but it was past midnight, many people were sleeping by then. Some TV stations are indicating that this outbreak's damage could be as bad or worst than the past Christmas tornado outbreak.
And to think that JB was just saying that EL Nino is already dead,

CNN is showing massive damage in Lake County live right now. It's incredible. Mobile homes flattened, trees twisted like toothpicks, cars upside down... this isn't even half the damage apparantly. God help them all.

Just saw a church in Lady Lake is completely flattened. Look at this warning, "strong tornado". This turns my stomach, I had no idea Florida had storms like this.

I heard alot of the damage was around Turnball Rd and the NSB airport.

There was a pile up in Volusia County on the I-4.

Several tractor trailers overturned on I-4. It is causing traffic problems on 4 and Interstate 95.

Just watching the local news. There are NO fatalities in NSB. Just minor injuries. But there is extensive damage.

LADY LAKE, Florida (CNN) -- Suspected tornadoes rocked Florida residents out of bed early Friday, killing at least two people and ripping long swaths of destruction through residential neighborhoods.

No New Smyrna Beach is about 80 mile east of Lady Lakes

Now they are saying at least 14 people were killed in the storms. Didn't give the areas.
