-2F, warmest morning in 25 days

#1 Postby Scott Patterson » Mon Feb 05, 2007 1:29 pm

Real warm up around here. -2F this morning was the warmest night in 25 days and since January 11.

Also significant was Saturday's temperature of 34 was the first time it hit freezing in 23 days, and the first time it has been above 24 since January 11.

It looks like Spring is finally on it's way, at least here. National Weather Service is predicting that nights will actually be above 0 for the next few days, perhaps even as warm as the teens.

I'm glad of it and it's time to start riding the bike to work again. :D

Exactly my thought. I won't hop on my bike if the temp. is anything below 50. -2? Holy cow, you will be a huge popcicle by the time you get to work. :P

It's not too bad if you bundle up and is better than the alternative which is to be cooped up indoors for much of the year. :D
