I was going to type this same thing and am glad I kept reading.
My heart and prayers going out to the family!

It would be almost impossible for anyone to report that as fact. Speculation, maybe...not fact. If she was coding when she went to the ER, they would have taken care of the ABC's first -- airway, breathing, circulation. Obviously, those efforts weren't successful. They may have drawn blood gases to determine her oxygen saturation. And they *may* have drawn other labs, including a serum toxicology screen, as well as sending urine for a screen. However, if those results are already available to the lab personnel AND if they are already being reported as final, someone at that hospital is going to be in deep doo-doo for breaking patient confidentiality.
Besides that, the coroner determines the cause of death, not the laboratory and her body just made it to the ME's office a short time ago. I highly doubt they could have any kind of lab results back by now.
As it stands right now, the only cause of death is "cardiac arrest." It could later be determined as "secondary to drug overdose" or something else.
Bugs me when reporters speculate.

Well, people were with her before paramedics arrived. They could be the sources for the story.

They still can't be the ones who determine COD.

And if they saw her take an overdose, why didn't they stop her before it was too late?
