That was first thought as well. I would still think that she would want to live for her little girl, but she could've thought that the baby would've been better off without her.

She's our modern-day Marilyn Monroe. What a tragedy, regardless of whether she's a celebrity or not.! Rest in Peace Anna Nicole!

Because they are the only ones we know about and hear about, except for personal tragedies. That does not mean anything grotesque (strong word there) because we we share sympathies.

I feel so sad for her. She was my age. No matter what she did or how she lived her life, there are family and friends that are grieving for her. i send prayers out to her family and especially to her little girl. This will drag out in the courts for a long time.

I'm praying for the paramedics, doctors, and nurses who treated her also.

As an former ER worker I know, you can get through hundreds of deaths, and although none of them is easy, you know you have to get past it and move on to the next patient to try to save him or her. But then there's always those few that slip in and really get to you -- the children, the deaths on holidays, the firefighters and police officers, the ones who die accidentally while in a loved one's care, or the ones whose death reports keep getting played on and on in the news (not always celebrities), reminding you of it again and again.

Her shocking and sudden death, keeps reminding me of how I felt when I heard John Ritter died.

The circumstances are completely different I know but as I sit here, each time I read a new link or article and I'm stunned once again. It is unbelievable, but sadly true.

And very sad for the family left behind.

OK... so, the latest. A judge in L.A. has rejected the request for a DNA test on Anna Nicole, but also said her body has to be preserved for 10 days in Florida.

(I know this is mean to say, but I can't resist. I'm sure she knew that fans and non-fans alike joked about her and, from what I saw on her show, she was able to laugh about herself also.)

That shouldn't be too hard...at least, for some parts of her.

Honestly, IMO, she was annoying in some ways, especially when she was spaced out. But either large or small, she was gorgeous IMO...preferably the flat-abs, toned-muscle, fitter Anna Nicole.

Why would that judge deny that? I do not understand! There is a baby at stake here. I hope the baby is Larry's and not that Stern fool.

What does Anna Nicole's DNA have to do with determining paternity? It's not like there's a question of whether she's the mother...

Isn't it bad enough he had an affair with her.

Forget slapping cops. Zsa Zsa needs to slap him silly and keep him from straying.

LOL! Seriously. I bet we're going to see other men claiming to be the father as well, probably ones who weren't even tied to Anna Nicole around the time she got pregnant.

Has anyone reported if she has a will or not?

I mean, you would think she would have learned from the mess after her late husband's death how important it is to have your wishes on paper. And if she had one, was it up to date? She may have listed her son Daniel as a primary heir to her estate (over $700 million!). But since he predeceased her AND since she had another child, I wonder if she changed it so that Dannielyn is her primary heir. And what about the rest of her family -- her mom, her sister? Are they beneficiaries as well?

No wonder there are so many men fighting to prove they are the father of the baby. Is there some way to protect the daughter's money (if she is legally entitled to it) from them? Or worse, if Anna Nicole died intestate, is Howard K. Stern entitled to anything as her "husband?" Is her really her husband since they had a "commitment ceremony?" What's up with that? They didn't actually get married?

I hope it's not going to be a big mess, especially for Dannielyn's sake. I hope she is able to grow up out of the spotlight. Goodness knows how crazy life can be for a millionaire's child or heir -- look at Paris Hilton. Can you imagine? A 5-month old millionaire? How weird would it be to be rich enough that you never know how it feels to lack or want something?

Then again...she'll never have her mother again. :(

Well gtalum, the DNA would settle the paternity once and for all. Haven't you ever heard of prenatal paternity tests?

The reason they want Anna's DNA is so that no one can switch the baby. This is being asked for by Larry's lawyer. I'll try to post a link in a sec...
