This reminds me of a cartoon strip I read a long time ago. A driver stops to ask for directions and the man at the gas station tells him to keep going down the freeway and to take the last exit. The driver asks how will he know when he gets to the last exit and the guy says, "There won't be any more."

If this thread survives, we're going to get a lot of posts like this:

Well I said 3/19 was my last frost, but it's 3/30 and we had a freeze last night. Probably the last freeze of the season.

Then some more like this:

Well, I thought 3/30 was it. Can you believe it? It froze again last night. 4/11 has GOT to be the last freeze.

Having said that, this thread could be lots of fun.

My last freeze was on 2/3. Unless something changes that should hold.

The average last freeze for Houston IAH is 2/25; for Houston Hobby 2/18; for Galveston 2/5. So this thread isn't premature for some parts of the country.

On Average in the DFW area, the last freeze happened the day after Valentine's Day, but I reckon that we may have our last freeze in the beginning of March.

I put this here for people to put their last frost. I hope it was a good idea.

I'll keep you up to speed with the situation here... but don't hold your breath. Winter only started a little over a month ago. Matter of fact, we haven't seen temperatures above freezing for 13 days.

We normally don't see our last frost until mid-May (over three months away).

Well unfortunately Jack Frost decided to pay us another visit.

My last freeze was on 2/16 at 27 degrees. We're done for the season thank goodness.

Hit 32° this morning. The low was supposed to be 34° and I'm pretty sure that was the last freeze. Of course we can't know for sure until there are no more. :P

The few days before that, we had ice in the mornings. Beaumont hit 22° on the 16th, with the official reading (and a new record) being 25° at the airport in Port Arthur(KBPT). (yep...Beaumont's official temps...records come from Port Arthur  ) My dog stays inside most of the time, but has a bowl of water on the porch too, and it was frozen solid the last few days. I didn't check this morning because I think the temperature was just above freezing most of the night.

My last freeze was this morning, 2/18, with a temperature of about 31-32 degrees. (Hooks airport also hit 31)

Hopefully this is our last.

Our last freeze usually happens around February. However, freezes can happen in March and well into mid April.
